Rima Adil, Class XL

Dr. Rima Adil serves as the Public Information Officer and Interim Vice Chancellor for Strategic Communications & Marketing at Houston City College, where she leads the institution’s branding, media relations, and systemwide communication strategy. With extensive experience spanning higher education administration, student services, program development, and community engagement, she has spearheaded several impactful initiatives, including HCC’s first Live Virtual Support Services Platform, the Student Ambassador Program, and the On-Campus Food Pantry.
In addition to her work at Houston City College, Dr. Adil serves as President of the United Nations Association Houston, advancing global citizenship and the UN Sustainable Development Goals across the region. Her leadership has been recognized with multiple awards, including the NASPA Virtual Innovation Award, Women of Excellence Award, and the Terry O’Banion Award.
Dr. Adil holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston, an MBA from the University of Houston–Victoria, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Texas Tech University.
