Albert Lyne serves as the Deputy Chief Strategy Officer for Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas (Houston METRO). He is passionate about public service and leads efforts to advance METRO’s funding priorities through collaboration with regional and national partners.

Prior to joining Houston METRO, Albert held positions with Port Houston, Harris County, and a top public accounting firm in Houston, Texas. He has led successful results in project management, financial planning & analysis, capital budgeting, strategic planning, grants management, and internal/external

auditing.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas and holds a certificate as Project Management Professional (PMP).

Albert is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the Project Management Institute. He is also a graduate of Leadership Houston (Class XLI) and an active volunteer on various committees.
