MaryJane Mudd, Class XVIII
MaryJane Mudd, an alumnus of Class XVIII, is an award-winning communicator specializing in communication strategy, external relations, public affairs, crisis communications and media relations. Her experience spans 25+ years with organizations including Shell Oil, ConocoPhillips, Air Liquide America, the American Red Cross, the American Marketing Association and Purdue University. MaryJane led local Red Cross Public Affairs activities for Hurricane Harvey, participating in approximately 60 television, press and radio interviews, including national interviews with CBS, ABC, NPR, the WSJ and USA Today. MaryJane is married with four children and is an advocate for special needs children through public speaking and creative writing. She is passionate about Leadership Houston and has previously served as Class Chair as well as VP of Marketing.
