Sanjay serves as Vice President at CP&Y, a Texas based infrastructure and environmental consulting company. In addition to managing the firm’s Houston Operations, he directs the Operations of the largest of three Corporate Divisions that focuses on water, infrastructure and energy efficiency.
Previously, he was Principal-In-Charge of a $1 billion global consulting firm, where he managed a Business Practice for Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma.
His civic involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Leadership Houston, President of the HESS Club, Chairperson of the Houston Mayor’s International Trade & Development Council (South Asia); City of Houston – Building & Standards Commission, host of a public policy radio talk show – “Insights”, HCEC – Governmental Affairs Committee; Past President of the Indo-American Political Action Committee (iapac); Board of Directors of the Indo-American Charity Foundation, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston and coordinating inbound and outbound trade delegations.
He was selected as one of Five Outstanding Young Houstonians for the year 2010. Selected as an ASIA 21 Young Leader to represent the United States at the 2010 Global Asia 21 Leadership Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia; he was one among more than 100 emerging leaders selected from some 30 countries and economies in the US and Asia-Pacific region. He has been an invited speaker to the US-India Infrastructure Summit in New Delhi where the other speakers included Indian cabinet ministers and high-level officials from US AID and US Trade and Development Agency. He has a Master’s from Texas A&M University.
