Jeffrey L. Boney is the founder and chief executive officer of the Texas Business Alliance, a nonprofit organization with a mission to equip minority- and women-owned businesses to be qualified suppliers, ready to compete for public, private and international opportunities through progressive development and specialized training.
Boney has successfully developed curriculum and launched three major programs, the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, Business Enterprise Academy and the One Woman National Business Conference. Boney is a graduate of Texas Southern University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management. Boney is a proud 1991 graduate of Jack Yates High School. He is an international speaker on leadership development and community and economic development. He is an Adjunct Professor, in the school of Business Administration at Houston Community College. He also is president and chief executive officer of BoneFide Development and Investment Group, the parent company of Tax Service Express, BoneFide Accounting, BoneFide Realty and BoneFide Consulting.
Staying connected to the community, Boney serves in the following capacities: member of the 100 Black Men of America, advisory board member for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Port of Houston Authority. Harris County Sherriff’s Office, the Harris County Department of Education and IRS Small Business Economic Forum. He is formerly a board member of The Forge for Families and is an active volunteer with several community organizations. Boney has received numerous awards and recognition for his civic and community involvement and his leadership skills. Boney is a graduate of Project Blueprint, a United Way leadership program and is a Leadership Houston Class XXVII graduate. Leadership Houston annually trains an elite group of active business and civic leaders to effect positive change in Houston.
