LH Class XXVII

Angela L. Young, MLA, CFRE is the Executive Director of Development at Rice University. She oversees the major gifts program and leads the fundraising efforts for the George R. Brown School of Engineering. Previously, she was a major gift officer at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine.

Angela also serves on additional local boards including: The Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Houston Chapter, Montrose Counseling Center and the University of St. Thomas Alumni Board.  Angela earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Houston and her Master of Liberal Arts from the University of St. Thomas.  She is also a proud graduate of Leadership Houston, Class XXVII.
